After a lot of head scratching and review reading i opted for this TV from Amazon. As usual their service was superb and the price very reasonable with quick delivery.

From the moment i set the TV up i could see it was special, at that time i had no HD sources so i was anxious to see how such a size screen would look in standard definition. I wasn’t disspointed, it’s upscaling engine is clearly very good with very little pixelation. The most impressive aspect for me though is the depth of colour, the blacks really are very deep and the colours bright and vibrant. Since purchasing the TV i now have Sky+ HD, WOW! seeing the full 1080i picture on this TV has to be seen to be believed, i can only imagine what 1080p from a Blueray player must look like!

The sound quality is good enough although such an amazing picture deserves the benefits of a dedicated surround system in my opinion. The design of the set is elegant and stylish, the remote control is nice and menus intuitive and attractive. I really like the pivot base too as it makes plugging USB sticks or VGA cables in much easier if it’s not wall mounted.

An unexpected bonus! I thought the picture viewer was a gimmick that wouldn’t get used but i was totally wrong! A 40″ digital photo frame with remote control so the whole family can sit back and look at photos is fantastic! No messing around with USB cables etc, just pluga USB memory drive in and the TV will read your files and present a photo gallery. Brilliant.

I can’t praise this TV enough, even a friend who is a dedicated Panasonic fan is saving up to buy one!

I have to say I am impressed with this technological triumph.It looks good,sounds good and the picture is impressive.It was unusually easy to set up,the programme takes you through the process without a hitch.Freeview is easy to ascertain,the remote is slim and light and not bulky at all.The shiny black surround sets the picture off,giving it a hint of “stealth”.A number of visitors to our home have commented about it(good I’m pleased to say) especially as its stands out. I had been very wary of purchasing this item on the internet without having seen the product first in the high-street. Having read all the raving reviews, I thought I’ll take the risk and buy.

The risk was well worth taking. Superb picture quality, great sound and looks great in my living room. The menu is really easy too use, I don’t know much about settings etc but the Samsung menu system got me up and running within no time.

I am a geek at heart and I love gadgets of all sorts, so I was really pleased with the amount of features this television has to offer.

2 USB drives which allow me to connect external hard drives etc so I can play all my saved content: photos, music and video. I can even connect my ipod and play content! You can even connect to the internet via the built in LAN port and access content such as you tube, and even has a built in twitter app!
